I am the founder of naomifong.com, being both an artist and a wellness coach.

Being healthy is a strong value of mine. I believe that having a routine, athletic outlets, meditation, experiences in nature, and creative expression helps foster mindfulness and overall well-being.

In 2018, being a part of Team Canada for the Invictus Games in Sydney, Australia gave me the courage and the platform to speak publicly surrounding my experiences with mental health and well-being derived from sexual traumas I faced throughout my military service. I struggle with PTSD and other injuries from my time in the service. I prepared and competed in the Invictus Games, in Sydney, Australia, and won 2 bronze for Canada in Women’s Cycling. It was an experience that was both inspiring and transformative.

My healing journey lead me to certify as an instructor of Yoga. I have also studied and graduated with honours from the Social Service Worker program at Algonquin College (2018) and the Paramedic Program at Northern College (2006). I am also certified as an Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant.

My mission now is to help others find their goals in health and well-being; to start at a point that fits each individual’s needs and work from there. I want my clients to know each step of their journey is supported, and I will do my best to support each individual to be the best-balanced version of themselves.

May the Divine in Me see the Divine in You.

It has certainly been a long journey.

“She learned to love herself when it’s dark and she is alone” – Knot Redefined (Fong, 2021)

I’ve been learning and still am learning along the way. I recognize now that I have come a long way. The hard work, time and energy I have put into to myself, my commitment to learning about myself, self growth and healing has not been for not. Having the hard conversations and being open about some of my experiences has been and still is part of my healing process.
